How did/do you spend your summer vacations?

lately i've noticed.. that the "in" thing to do in my family is... to go back to alaska.. and work two jobs during the summer.. haha its funny. all of my cousins.. are back in alaska. "barrow" to be exact.. and are working their butts off... 

i miss all of us being around eachother... rarely happens nowadays. 

although i wish i was somewhere else all the time... being back in barrow gives me time to spend time with my family and relatives... to be able to eat my my mom and dads cooking (even if it only happens on weekends...(coz they're so freakin busy) and occasionally during the week), but i also get to taste my aunties cooking... haha. 

who says... california is the sunny state... hasn't been to barrow during the summer... 24/7 sunlight... haha. 

summer in barrow also means.. gaining weight. haha.

i missed her!

i spent friday and saturday with my friends from brent. its been a while since the last time all of us got together.. (i mean.. like the last time where it wasn't just ren and jess) this time trish came. and then our friend chinray. =)

so, it was jess's birthday. she just turned 19. hehe we made reservations at the geisha house in hollywood to celebrate.. hehe the whole time we were there we were looking for someone we might know or recognized "famous people" hehe.

what can i say about geisha house. the food was GOOD... what i liked best was the red samurai. yumm.. it was somewhat kinda pricey... but it was great service.. the geisha's were really pretty.. the ambiance of the place?... well it had hip decor,star sightings. Very crowded, and loud music! it was funn.. hehe. 

what was funny was that there were these girl at the table next to us... they kept on looking at us. Then they noticed that the manager came up to us to shake our hands and asked if everything was good. the geisha's came over to take pictures with the birthday girl.. and then the lady who kept looking at us... came up to us and asked if chinray was a reality tv star... hehe for like "real world" or something. hahaha that was funny.

anyways...

after geisha... we went to UCLA to the frat strip.. and crashed frat parties... after that... we went to westwood... to a hookah bar called "habibi"... (cool name huh?) but there was a wait.. so we had some pazookies... before smoking.

we got two flavors.. some aunthentic hookah flavor and the other one was strawberry banana.. yumm... i wanna buy my own hookah. 

my mom and dad saw these pictures.. they were like..."looks like you guys had a lot of fun".. hehe. YES we did.  

well by the end of the night.. i drove back to ren's...
we all try to fit in the bed. hehe.
such a fun night. =)

Whose house (besides your own) were you in last and why?

my auntie lieannes... i was there for two days. i missed her... and now i miss her even more..
i want to go to hong kong.. and then philippines. GOSH i miss philippines... i miss my friends... i miss my house. arghhhh...

well anyways here are some pictures from these past two days.

i always seem to gain weight whenever she comes.. lol i love it! (not the weight gaining part... but the company of my auntie and the eating part... lol) 

oh. and i met a "new" jonathan...
so weird.. they're like so the same. first name. course "international business" omg. the first time i met them.. both at CHEESECAKE FACTORY... they're both 22. OMG. hehehe.... the irony.
